It features twelve remappable action buttons plus a built-in throttle axis with a thrust reverser mechanism, a unique touch drawn from real airliners. The design is genuinely versatile and modular thanks to swappable joystick head button modules, letting you reconfigure the stick before each takeoff for captain, co-pilot, or a central position for solo flight. A rudder function is built into the handle and can be engaged by rotating the stick, with a locking system that disables rotation when you pair it with a dedicated rudder controller for a more realistic commercial flight setup. Precision comes from Thrustmaster's proprietary H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensors, providing up to 14-bit resolution on the pitch and roll axes for smooth, accurate control. Because the contactless magnetic sensors use no potentiometers, the sidestick is built to last with effectively unlimited lifespan and no wear-related drift.
