The Fanatec QR2 Lite Wheel-Side brings Fanatec's motorsport-derived quick release system to CSL and CSL Elite steering wheels at an accessible price. Rather than aluminium, it is built from carbon fibre-reinforced polyamide using recycled carbon fibre, and it is preconditioned to resist changes in humidity for consistent, long-term performance. The QR2 design is a significant step up from the older QR1: its spring-loaded locking pin mechanism is far stronger and more secure, while the tapered shape naturally ensures a tight fit with no additional locking parts or adjustments required. Once fitted, it transfers both power and data from a Fanatec wheel base to a Fanatec steering wheel, and it can be attached to the base without touching the spring-loaded sleeve mechanism, so connecting a wheel is quick and fuss-free. Use it to upgrade compatible CSL and CSL Elite steering wheels that have an exchangeable quick release to the QR2 system, giving you the secure hold and easy wheel swaps that the QR2 platform is known for.
