The Fanatec QR2 Base-Side (Type-C) is a motorsport-grade quick release system built from diecast aluminium with a CNC-machined finish. Its all-new mechanical design delivers rock-solid, high-level performance, while the tapered shape and precision manufacturing tolerances automatically ensure a tight, robust connection between your steering wheel and wheel base. The QR2 mechanical coupling was developed for use in real-world motorsport, giving you track-derived reliability at home. This Type-C base-side upgrades your Gran Turismo DD Pro or CSL DD wheel base to the all-aluminium QR2 standard, complete with an improved clamp ring. A durable, low-friction anodised surface allows fast and secure hot-swapping between different wheel designs, so you can change wheels without restarting the sim or your wheel base. Attachment could not be simpler: just bring the wheel towards the base and push to fit, with no need to touch the quick release. Everything clicks into place for a secure hold every time. It connects to the QR2 Wheel-Side and QR2 Pro Wheel-Side. Supplied with the QR2 Base-Side (Type-C), a clamp ring with bolts, a 5 mm Allen key and a quick guide.
