This is not a replica. Developed together with BMW M Motorsport, the Podium Steering Wheel BMW M4 GT3 is the actual wheel made for the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car, and for the first time in sim racing a single wheel has been engineered for both a real GT3 car and the sim. What you buy here is exactly what Fanatec manufactures for every BMW M4 GT3, and you can own one too. It is covered in features, some not obvious at a glance, including dual-action push and pull magnetic shifters, dual-analogue clutch paddles with adjustable travel, two extra rear-mounted buttons and a D-pad hidden under the BMW logo. Twelve front-facing buttons plus two at the rear are perfectly placed for quick access, and the grip-mounted rotary encoders use Hall sensors for a strong, positive click. RGB LEDs behind all twelve front buttons and the backlit multi-position switches keep every input visible in the heat of competition, and can be programmed via FanaLab to act as RevLEDs or tyre slip indicators. Homologated for GT3 racing and refined with feedback from BMW M Motorsport works drivers, it is built for ultimate performance on track and in the sim. Its multi-layer full carbon fibre construction makes it incredibly strong yet light, and it has been tested to the same extremes as the car itself. The wheel comes preinstalled with the QR2 Pro Wheel-Side quick release, fully CNC-machined from billet aluminium to meet real-world motorsport requirements. Designed and developed in Bavaria.
