Instead of measuring how far the pedal travels, a load cell brake measures how hard you press. That makes the braking feel far closer to a real car, and it helps you improve quickly through muscle memory training, so you brake with confidence and start smashing your personal best laps. The kit completely replaces the standard brake pedal and upgrades the electronics, which means your original brake pedal can then be reused as a clutch. On top of the custom-designed load cell sensor sits a heavy-duty elastomer stack with 65 Shore hardness, giving a strong, realistic feeling of resistance under compression. Much like the CSL Pedals themselves, the Load Cell Kit uses an all-metal design for genuine durability and precision. It is also highly adjustable. The amount of braking force required can be tweaked through the Fanatec Tuning Menu or the Fanatec Control Panel on PC, and the upgraded electronics allow manual calibration of all three pedal axes. Pedal position can be moved sideways along the CSL Pedals heel rest, and the pedal face is height adjustable to suit your driving position.
