The Fanatec CSL DD QR2L (8 Nm) brings serious direct drive performance in a compact chassis, and this package includes the Boost Kit 180, a 180W power supply that unlocks the motor's full strength. Because the steering wheel mounts directly to the motor shaft, there is no belt or gear drive to soften the effects, letting you experience your favourite racing titles exactly as the developers intended. Running in 8 Nm mode, the base delivers much stronger feedback and, as a result, communicates the subtle cues more clearly too. The custom German-built motor uses patented FluxBarrier technology and a carbon fibre composite shaft for outstanding responsiveness, and it sustains this torque without active cooling thanks to the extruded, CNC-machined aluminium casing that acts as both chassis and heatsink. A simplified Standard Tuning Menu helps beginners start quickly, while the Advanced Tuning Menu lets enthusiasts shape the force feedback to their taste. The motorsport-derived QR2 quick release, developed from the 2022 BMW M4 GT3, clicks into place with a simple push and supports hot-swapping wheels without restarting the sim. It is PC compatible and Xbox ready when paired with a compatible Fanatec wheel.
