Honest Review

Been using the GTtrack for over a week now and I must say it’s an absolutely amazing rig. I upgraded from a Playseat Alcantara because the Playseat has an annoying pole that makes you feel like a pole dancer every time you press the brake pedal and your leg grinds it. It also had high moment. The GTtrack has a solid construction with no flex including on the pedal plate. I have the Fanatec CSL elite with load cell brake pedal mounted and after I installed it for the first time, I accidently had the load cell brake force feedback cracked up too high that when I stomped on the brake pedal, it felt like I was on the leg press at the gym. Pushing as hard as I could the pedal plate had absolutely no movement in it. The GT Track also has an amazing BBC. Yes, I am talking about the chair. The chair is super comfortable, allows for multiple adjustments and feels like a real car seat. I really love the 4-point harness and I enjoy using it while sim racing. I wish it came with the lumber support cushion to support my bad lower back. It’s not necessary but would be nice to have so I’ll probably just end up buying one. Assembling and mounting everything was easy as everything like instructions, tools, fixings, including fixings for the Fanatec gear, and wire straps were all included. Unfortunately, my rig seemed like it got damaged during shipping where it looked like someone put an object through the side of my box and scratched some paint. Maybe someone found a different use for that Playseat pole. Anyways the guys at Pagnian were very helpful and sorted it out for me. In all honestly, I rang them a few times asking questions in regards to different racing cockpits and accessories and they were more than happy to help out. No pressure to buy anything, very informative and patient. Thanks to the Pagnian team for the brilliant customer service. Overall, the GTtrack is an amazing product that I would defiantly recommend. Having so much fun using it and its giving me a better sim race experience.

Very high quality!

Title said it all.. I still have and use it to this day since it first released

Easy to assemble, very sturdy, the shifter/handbrake base could be stronger and more configurable.

GTtrack Review

The GTtrack arrived just before Xmas and I have now set it up and used it over the hoiday period with sim racing titles such as iRacing, ACS and pCARS2. First off, I would like to say that the GTUltimate rig next to it in the pics has been fantastic over the past few years with and without motion added; the reason I have the GTtrack now is purely down to to the structure required to support the Direct Drive wheel base I have on pre-order from Fanatec which has been delayed slightly. First impressions when taking the GTtrack out of the box, is that this rig is 'Industrial' in weight, strength and build. Next Level have listened to previous feedback and built a rig that is super strong and that will withstand the forces generated from Motion and DD wheels for sure. The majority of the frame is made from 40mm box section and the welds are full, not tacked on. Once all the bolts are tightened, there is virtually no movement, no flex and a great feeling of rigidity throughout. The wheel table is very sturdy and feels great, there is even enough room to add a couple of fans to help with HMD cooling! I have opted for wheels rather than the alternative feet whilst in this configuration and they too are very robust taking my 97kg weight easily. I am 181cm tall and fit in the chair easliy with plenty of adjustment either way for longer or shorter body/leg lengths and people less wide than I am too. The seat fits me snugly and the design keeps me firmly in the seat without having to use the harness/seat belts. I find the seating position very comfortable for extended periods of time, and it didn't take too many attempts to get the wheel table just at the right height. I can get in and out of the seat very easily indeed from the right hand side (I'm a 'pommy' so drive in a RHD configuration regardless of the car I am virtually driving. I have a NL Monitor stand on pre-order too, along with the much anticipated NL Traction+ coming my way once released - I can't wait! I'd also like to add the flight pack once released so I can use the rig as I used the GTUltimate, swapping a few brackets out to turn it in to a Flight platform, rather than having both in the room, but for the time being I have made a compromise as I mainly race in VR (so don't need the screen in front of me) and prefer to have motion with that rather than in flight (although I do miss it already). There is still a place for the GTUltimate Cockpit as it is cheaper for a start and certainly meets the needs of non-DD wheels, but I do feel if you are investing in motion such as the NLM v3 as I have, then the GTtrack is much better suited to this application due to lack of flex and the way it is built regardless of the DD wheel bonus.
