Thrustmaster T3PM Pedals Review

T3PM is equipped with exclusive and patented H.E.A.R.T magnetic technology, which provides players with outstanding, thousandth-of-a-second precision in a variety of games. In addition, T3PM has four different brake pedal pressure settings, so racers can play comfortably and with the same level of precision no matter what type of setup they are using (like a table or desk, a cockpit, or the Wheel Stand Pro).

Thrustmaster's new T3PM magnetic pedals, which the company claims are 20 percent more stable than their predecessor, the T3PA, are now available. The 20% increase in stability is reflected in a 20% increase in weight on the T3PA, and it appears to be a high-quality construction. It is true that how stable you find a pair of pedals is dependent on how you use them, and because mine are placed on a stand, the extra 20 percent was neither here nor there. In particular, you will note the bigger 100% metal pedal heads, which are quite lovely and large and provide for effortless operation, especially when changing speeds quickly.
Additionally, you may vary between four distinct pressure modes and angles on the T3PM brake pedal, which are all customizable based on whatever configuration you use the wheel in. Due to the fact that not everyone is sporting a true cockpit or racing seat—or even a decent chair, for that matter—this is something Thrustmaster wants you to use with your gaming setup. The brake pedal angle can be adjusted in my situation since I'm sitting in a really strong wood chair that does not move when I'm racing. However, it was not made with sim-racing in mind, so being able to do so is actually pretty handy.

One thing to keep in mind with the brake pedal is that it is really firm. It takes a little while to get up to speed, but when compared to other wheels I've used, it's remarkably resistant to damage. In the opinion of Thrustmaster, the new brake pedal has a maximum resistance of 200 kg, which is twice as much as the previous T3PA, and thus feels more like the brakes in a genuine racing vehicle, whether it is a GT3 or an F1.
